Some of my favorites!

We received our CD of images from Eden in the mail today. Once again, I am amazed by her talent and are absolutely in love with some of these images. I don't know where I am going to put all these pictures, but I am going to find some room for sure! Check out here website for more amazing work. http://www.edenrosephotography.com/

19 months!

It amazes me how much the babies change everyday. They are growing up so fast. They are really using their voices and becoming much more vocal. They have learned the word "no" (which makes me very sad) and the word "plesase". Their list of words is growing daily and I am not even sure I could remember them all. Their little personalities are so different. Emma is a little fireball. She knows what she wants and if she doesn't get it or it's taken away, she'll "scream" at you. We are working on eliminating this trait, but so far it has stuck. Noah is still Mr. Happy-go-lucky. He loves to be outside and is so loving. I can't imagine my life without these two blessings.

Splish Splash!

I met up with our neighbor Hannah and her son Hudson at the Melio Gaspari Water Play Park in Sparks today. The kiddos had a TON of fun! They were a bit shy and nervous at first, but after only a few minutes they were running around getting completely soaked. I one point, both Emma and Noah were shivering, but they wouldn't stay in their towels long enough to warm up. They LOVED it! We stayed for little over an hour and then headed home. Here are some pics from this afternoon.

Independence Day 2010

This year we decided to take the kiddos to the 4th of July parade in Truckee. It was a gorgeous day and the babies really enjoyed all of the floats. Afterwards, we had some lunch and then headed back to Reno. After some playtime at home the babies went down for a nap and Ryan headed to work (mandatory work day at Truckee pd). Once the kiddos were up, we headed over to Samantha and Ryan's new apartment for a little BBQ. We hung out there until bedtime. I ended up watching the Sparks fireworks show via the internet...

Sesame Street Live!

This morning, Ryan and I took the kiddos to see Sesame Street Live at Lawlor Event Center. We weren't too sure how the twins would do since it started at their nap time and they have never been to a show like this before, but they did great. They sat for the entire first half in amazement and watched as Elmo, Big Bird, Bert, Ernie and all the rest of the gang, danced and sang. There was a brief intermission where several different vendors came out to sell overly priced items and then off to the second half. Emma sat or stood for the second half and watched or danced along. Noah wasn't as interested. He kept saying "bye bye" and Ryan ended up holding him (while standing) for the last 10 min or so. Afterwards we headed to Archies for some yummy hamburgers and fries. It was a great morning!! I'm so glad we decided to take the kids.
