Happy 30th Birthday Teah!

Today my oldest and dearest friend turned 30! I wish I could have been there to celebrate with her but knowing I will see her later this year when she gets married makes me feel a little bit better. I met Teah in Kindergarten at First Lutheran School. We were the only girls in the class. We instantly became friends and were inseparable until she moved to Oklahoma between 3rd and 4th grade. We continued our friendship by writing letters, an occasional phone call and spending our summers together with her grandma at the Raquet Club. I surprised her for her high school graduation and she came to mine. I flew to Oklahoma with Ryan for her 21st birthday and she surprised me at my baby shower for Noah and Emma. We have remained friends through it all and I know that whenever we talk we just pick up right where we left off. She is an amazing person and friend. I love her very much.

Happy Birthday Erica!

My baby sister turned 21 today! It is crazy that she is already old enough to legally drink. I can remember the day she was born. We celebrated at my dad's house with pizza and cake. Then Ashley and I took Erica to Chili's for her first (legal) drink! It was nice hanging out with my sisters and catching up. Happy Birthday Erica! We love you!!!

Trouble times 2!

Noah and Emma are becoming quite the mischievous pair lately. The old saying "two heads are better than one" is true around here! They have quickly learned that together they can get more done and are much more efficient at it. The other morning Ryan and I were in our room getting ready for the day while Ryleigh napped and we walked into the hallway to find that Noah and Emma had taken almost everything out of the linen closet and were playing in it. Before we made them get down and clean up, we took a picture. They were having a lot of fun and were upset that they couldn't play in there anymore.

The other night while Ryan was at work, Noah and Emma asked to take a bath in our bathtub. Usually I say no since it takes so much to fill but I decided to let them anyways. They had a blast and really enjoyed themselves.

Chim Chim Cheree

Noah and Emma love watching movies. I have a ton of Disney movies that I started collecting a while ago. One of their all time favorites is "Mary Poppins". We watch it at least 2 times a week and they know most of the words to the songs. On Sunday evening, we were watching it before bed and Noah ran into the spare bedroom to get his "Chim Chim Cheree" hat. When he came out of the bedroom he had the play broom as well and began dancing along with the movie. This is the photo I captured with my phone.

Twins?

Look at how much Emma and Ryleigh look alike! The top picture is Ryleigh at 4 months and the bottom is Emma at 3 months. They even have the same sucked in bottom lip. I love it!

Snow!

We finally got some snow last night. The kids were so excited, I on the other hand, was not! We are supposed to get more later this week but I hope they are wrong since I am supposed to head to Yuba City for Erica's 21st birthday. I guess we will wait and see.

Firsts...

Ryleigh has had a busy month so far... She was able to have oatmeal for the first time today and try out her new jumper yesterday. She also got to try out Emma's rocking butterfly. She had fun in the jumper as Noah and Emma played with her and she wasn't too sure what to think of the oatmeal. We will keep trying again. I am hoping that the solid food will help her keep her food down more as she is still suffering from GERD and still spits up a lot.
