February Wrap-Up

We have taken so many more pictures now that we bought a new camera and they are mostly just snap-shots, but I know the grandparents would enjoy so I better post them! Here are some of my favorites!

Snow!

We finally got some decent snow over the past few days. Noah and Emma asked if they could go play in it and I finally said yes. We probably won't be living in Reno much longer so I figured, why not? The first afternoon was fine. They played and had a blast. The next day, however, they found the giant mud pit on the side of the house. I was NOT happy. They sure did have fun though.

Father Daughter Dance

Ryan and Emma attended the Father/Daughter Dance hosted by our church again this year. It was held at the Atlantis Hotel & Casino and they had a blast. Emma talked about the "daddy-daughter" dance for weeks leading up to this and was so excited for the night. She let me curl her hair, paint her nails, and put on some make up. She looked great.

While Ryan and Emma were on their "date", Noah, Ryleigh and I headed to dinner at Jimmy John's (Noah's choice) and then to Barnes and Nobel to pick out some books and play. Noah enjoyed riding the escalator and playing with the train table. We had a fun night together and enjoyed the "dates" with our kiddos.

Valentine's Day 2012

Every year for Valentine's Day we buy the kiddos a book and I make them a shirt. This year we also bought Noah and Emma new underwear. We spent the day running errands and hanging out as a family. We went to Whole Foods so Ryan could buy me some non-diary cream cheese and ice cream. We had lunch there and then headed home for naps. We cooked a nice steak dinner at home and Ryan and Noah made me a dairy free cheese cake. After a few photos and a bath, we let the kids open their presents. Afterwards, we watched part of a movie and then all went to bed. It was such a nice relaxing day and night spent with my little family.

Valentine's Day Fun!

I made the kids their annual Valentine's Day Shirts again this year and I also made one for Peter as well. We headed over to Sam's house where we did a little mini photo shoot. It was quite interesting trying to get all the kids to look and smile at once! I haven't seen all the pics yet, but here are the ones she sent me.

5 Months!

Ryleigh is 5 months old and I can hardly believe it. She has changed so much over the past month it's crazy! She is still wearing size 2 diapers and is in 3-6 month clothing. She is down to 2 naps a day and sleeps 11-12 hours a night. She rolls all over the ground trying to get Noah and Emma's toys and loves to be in the jumper. She also can sit up for a short time unassisted. She weighed in at 13 pounds 10 ounces on the 17th of this month and is eating solids now. She loves almost everything I have given her except peaches. I think they were too tart for her. She is still suffering from GERD but you would never know because she is always so happy.

Happy Birthday Dolan!

We celebrated Dolan's fourth birthday with his family and friends at Jump-N-Shout (the same place we had the twins' party). The kids had a blast swinging from the rope swing, jumping in the bounce houses and flying down the zip line. They enjoyed the pizza and yummy treats Jodi made. It was a ton of fun! I can't believe Dolan is 4! Time flew by. Happy Birthday Dolan, we love you!
