While we were in Yuba City visiting family and friends, Noah and Emma were able to go harvest some rice with my Uncle Mike. My uncle has worked for John Deere for many years and is now in charge of the store in Robbins. We were able to take the kids out to one of the farms where they were able to get into the drivers seat of 2 different tractors! They had so much fun and every time we see a tractor they talk about this experience with Uncle Mike.

Apple Hill 2011
We braved the 2 1/2 hour drive and took our family of 5 to Apple Hill this year! It was quite an adventure with a 1 month old. Noah & Emma had a blast while Ryan and I were exhausted. The kids and I did get to enjoy a freshly made apple cider doughnut. I look forward to those every year!

Ryleigh's Birth Announcement
Baby Pictures
We had the very talented Eden Thome from Eden Rose Photography take Ryleigh's newborn pictures. She came to our house and was here for almost 2 hours. Here are some of my favorite shots from her shoot. Enjoy!

September 2011
This month was very busy for us. We began settling in as a family of 5 and had many friends and family come visit. We enjoyed having so many visitors and meals brought to us that it made things easier for us. We also took our first trip to Yuba City to help Art, Ryan's dad, after he had hernia surgery. The kids loved being with their grandparents and we loved spending time with everyone.
