YC Baby Shower

This past weekend was filled with many events. I was taken by surprise on Friday night by my oldest and dearest friend, Teah. She flew in from Tulsa, Oklahoma with her two daughters and her boyfriend to attend my baby shower. My mom had been setting this up with her for over a month and trying to figure out a way to surprise me was the hardest part. My mom had me meet her at the Toys-R-Us as soon as Ryan and I got into YC on Friday night. We headed to the back of the store where my sister Erica was to look at some baby shoes. As we were admiring the cute shoes, this little girl came up to me and said "ma'am you dropped something." As I looked up, I thought to myself, "This girl looks just like Kynsee." As I looked at her very confused, Teah snuck around the corner with Railey to surprise me. It was so special to have her there. We've known each other since Kindergarten and she's been trying to get me back since I surprised her in 2000 for her graduation. It was great being able to see them (since it had been over a year) and get to spend some time with them.

On Saturday, my good friend Kim threw me a baby shower in Yuba City. The house was decorated very cute, the food was yummy and the party games and favors were awesome. I was very blessed to have so many of our friends and family attend, as well as, all the wonderful gifts brought for Noah and Emma. After the wonderful shower, I was able to go visit my Zia Alma and celebrate her 89Th birthday with her and my family. Later that night, I went with several friends, including Teah, Bobby and the girls, to Red Robin for dinner. Afterwards, we went bowling. It was a lot of fun!
On Sunday, I went to church with my mom, had lunch with some friends and spent some time with my Nonie while Ryan visited with an old friend. Overall, I (we) had a wonderful weekend in YC and are very sad that I won't be able to visit down there again until the babies are born.
