Yesterday the babies turned 5 months old! It's hard to believe that they are already that old. I remember finding out I was pregnant around this time last year; it's scary how quickly time has passed by. They are both getting so big. When I look back at pictures of them from when they were first born it seems like such a long time ago.
Emma is rolling over from both her belly to back and back to belly and enjoys spending time in the jumper and playing in the activity gym. She smiles almost instantly when you talk to her and laughs at me almost every day. Most nights she is sleeping 11-12 hours without waking up. She loves to blow bubbles and make raspberries with her tongue. She is so happy it's contagious.
Noah hasn't quite mastered the rolling over yet, but is getting so close it's frustrating me! He didn't get to spend a lot of time on his belly because of the GERD (acid reflux) but that seems to have gotten better and he is no longer on his meds for it. He absolutely loves to jump in the jumper and will get fussy if you take him out before he is ready. He smiles all the time and is the first one to fall asleep when I lay them down for their naps in the morning. He is giggling more and more now and has started to talk more too. He is sleeping between 8-9 hours on his own and loves to get up early.
Both babies are noticing each other more and more. They will "talk" to each other when I lay them down to nap and when they see one another they smile and kick their feet. I can't wait until they begin to play with one another. It's like they have just realized there is another baby around.
