Last night I had to call Ryan home from work to meet me, Samantha and the babies at the E.R. Emma began throwing up at 6:45 pm and threw up 6 times until about 8:00pm. After a quick call to the pediatrician's after hours care, they recommended I take her to the E.R. in case of dehydration. Thank goodness for Samantha. Emma threw up all over her (and the couch, kitchen and carpet) and yet, she still went to the E.R. with me dressed in my pj's. Once Ryan arrived, Samantha went home. After waiting, for what seemed like forever, the doctor saw Emma and said she has the stomach flu and wasn't dehydrated enough to be admitted.
She seems to be doing better today. We went and saw our pediatrician this morning and she recommended no milk/formula until tomorrow. Her appetite is up and her behavior is somewhat back to normal. I can honestly say, I am happy I wasn't at the E.R. for any other reason.
