Snow Day!

After spending 6 hours in the car driving home from Yuba City yesterday, I was so happy to find out that Washoe County closed all the schools for a snow day! I already had the day off, but now it means I don't have to use any vacation time!! Here are some pics of all the snow around our house.

Kelly Clarkson!

For my birthday, Ryan purchased Kelly Clarkson tickets for me. The concert was scheduled for the Saturday after Thanksgiving, so my in-laws, Art & Chris came up to babysit. Ryan and I enjoyed a dinner out (just the two of us) and the concert. Kelly is an awesome live performer and her concert was amazing. I would go see her again if she came!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We spent Thanksgiving day at Jodi's parent's house in Fallon because Ryan had to work that night. We got there around noon and the babies and I stayed until 6pm. We had great food, awesome company and an all around good time. I didn't take any pictures until that night, when I realized I hadn't taken any, so Jodi quickly snapped one of the kiddos and I.

Birthday Celebration

On Friday night, we celebrated my birthday. We had dinner with a group of friends at the Melting Pot and then went to 210 North for some dancing. Our good friend Jay has a hook-up at the club, so we got in for free and were put in our own VIP section. It was a ton of fun.

11 Months!

I know I say this every month, but I really cannot believe how fast the babies are growing. It amazes me that in one month they will be one year old! They have grown so much over the last 11 months, it's crazy.

E.R. Visit

Last night I had to call Ryan home from work to meet me, Samantha and the babies at the E.R. Emma began throwing up at 6:45 pm and threw up 6 times until about 8:00pm. After a quick call to the pediatrician's after hours care, they recommended I take her to the E.R. in case of dehydration. Thank goodness for Samantha. Emma threw up all over her (and the couch, kitchen and carpet) and yet, she still went to the E.R. with me dressed in my pj's. Once Ryan arrived, Samantha went home. After waiting, for what seemed like forever, the doctor saw Emma and said she has the stomach flu and wasn't dehydrated enough to be admitted.

She seems to be doing better today. We went and saw our pediatrician this morning and she recommended no milk/formula until tomorrow. Her appetite is up and her behavior is somewhat back to normal. I can honestly say, I am happy I wasn't at the E.R. for any other reason.

The babies have been growing and changing so much lately, it's hard to keep track! Here are a few pics from the month so far.
