Snow...

Reno is so unpredictable when it comes to weather... we seriously had 60 degree weather last Thursday and on Saturday, Ryan and his dad worked in our backyard. By Saturday night, there were at least 6 inches of snow on the ground... By Sunday morning, we had 18 inches!! Here are some pics from that weekend and of the snow.

I guess I'm growing up...

Over the past few months I have come to realize the following things:

I love my husband and children more than anything.

We have found an amazing church and I look forward to going every week.

Sleeping uninterrupted for 10+ hours is an amazing thing!!

When given money or gift cards for holidays or birthdays, I find myself wanting to buy Noah and Emma stuff instead of myself.

Being home for meals and naps is more of a priority then staying out with friends.

Speaking of friends...the ones who had before children are not always around anymore.

You find out who your true friends are after having a baby or planning a wedding.

Working on home projects is a lot more fun than I would have ever thought.

I LOVE sewing and crafting...it makes me feel great when I can give someone a gift that I made with love.

I miss my home town.

I wish my children were growing up closer to their grandparents.

My dream is to move back to Yuba City for that very reason.

Friends don't ask why, they just know.

Friends will talk with you until midnight, just b/c you need someone to talk to.

I enjoy working but miss being at home all day with the kiddos.

Costco lunches with good friends are always better than fancy dinners with acquaintances.

Laundry is never ending...

Valentine's Day 2010

We celebrated Valentine's Day last night by heading out for a dinner and a movie. My mom came up from Yuba City to babysit so Ryan and I could enjoy the night by ourselves. Today we woke up, went to church, did our weekly Costco trip and spent the day at home relaxing. It was fabulous. Here are some pics of the kiddos wearing the shirts I made them. I received so many compliments at church that I may even have some orders coming from them...

Can't Wait...

to put the twins in these for Valentines Day!! They took me all of 5 minutes to make and they are going to be adorable!!! I will definitely make sure to get pics of the kiddos wearing them.

Out with the old...

and in with the new, highchairs!!! So, Ryan and I did a lot of research and purchased the fisher price high chairs that you attach to your dining room chairs...I really likes the chairs, but I didn't like how they did not fit under the table, so the chairs had to be pulled out really far. After doing some more research we purchased new, normal high chairs for the kiddos and I couldn't be happier! They can be adjusted to different heights so the babies can sit at the table with us and are really cute. I am so glad we decided to buy these.

Play Time with Daddy!

Last night before Ryan headed to work (he works 8:30pm-6:30am) he spent some time playing with the babies. It was so cute to see their faces light up as Ryan pushed them all around the downstairs. I finally asked him to wait so I could video it. Sorry I used the camera again, but it was closer...

Update...

It seems like January has come and gone so fast. I really don't know where the entire month went! We didn't have much going on this past month (thankfully)after the twins first birthday, Christmas, their dedication and New Years, it was nice to stay home and not do anything. Things are already picking up this month, so it was a nice break while it lasted. The kiddos have grown so much and Emma started walking. Noah is almost there but realizes that crawling is much faster. They have transitioned nicely to table food and have finally gotten over all the sickness that was going around. Here are some pics from the past month!
