Update!

So...the earthquakes are still happening and everyone in Reno is on edge. I'm trying to just live my life and not be so scared all the time but it's gotten hard to do. Apparently the risk of a 6.0 magnitude or higher has gotten greater since Friday, but no one really knows when, or if, it's even going to happen.

My work has gotten so paranoid, that we do earthquake drills almost everyday. They have even purchased food and water to keep in the shed by the playground. The church (which my school is affiliated with) has cancelled all night time events for the next 72 hours but school is still in session. Now, I have to ask...why did they cancel all events but are still allowing 100+ children and 20+ staff to be in there from 7:00am to 6:00pm daily? I'm a little baffled by this one.Needless to say, everyone I know is on edge.

I am hosting a bridal shower for my good friend Amanda (who's wedding I'm in in June) on Saturday. I am going to have 30+ people in my little apartment! I hope there isn't any earthquakes then! I will try to post some pics after they all leave.

Ryan goes back to working weekends on Sunday. =( Fortunately he'll be working days, so I'll get to see him at night!

I'm counting down the time until Kindergarten graduation (which is 28 days away) and the beginning of my summer program. I am once again the director and have lots of cool things planned!

My Nonie is coming up to Reno on Sunday with a bus trip from her church. I'm going to meet her at the Silver Legacy at 10:00am and spend the day with her. It'll be fun having her up here!

We even saw a story about the earthquakes on CNN a few days ago. It was the top headline! We keep you guys in our prayers. We hope your bridal shower is fun for all! Have a great weekend! Meredith and Clint
