My mom has a picture of me standing on top of the dishwasher door at a very young age. She has told me on numerous occasions that I liked to climb. I climbed up the cabinets, tables, etc... Well apparently the trait is genetic because last week Ryan and I noticed Emma on top of the coffee table in our formal living room. She didn't look scared at all. She was actually quite proud of herself. She has done this several times since and we have to be careful about what toys are in there because she uses them as a step stool.

Oh my goodness. My daughter loved to stand on the coffee table (or climb other various places) and I have dozens of very similar pictures. I think she thought of it as a stage. :) I'm glad I found your blog - I've enjoyed reading some of the back posts and catching up. It was nice meeting you in December!
