Thanksgiving 2008

This year for Thanksgiving Ryan and I had dinner at our place. We were originally going to do it here in Reno and then after I got pregnant and couldn't travel down to the valley, it only confirmed our plans. We had Ryan's dad, Art up for 2 nights and my mom came up for the whole weekend. It was very relaxing and fun. I was a little worried about cooking, since I have never cooked a turkey before, but it all came out beautifully. There was plenty of food and good conversations. The following morning Ryan and Art got up at 5am to go to Babies-R-Us to get my glider and ottoman that was 50% off! It was such a great deal that we couldn't pass it up. Later that day, we went to a few stores to get some supplies for a project I was working on, but other than that, we just hung out at our place. On Saturday, Ryan and I went to Sears as soon as he got home from work to purchase a new washer, dryer and refrigerator for our new house. We came home to breakfast made by my mom. Later that morning, my mom and I went to Flicker, to make some candles and then to see "Four Christmases" at the theater. We wanted Ryan to get some good sleep since he had worked the night before. On Sunday, we just hung out at home and got some more stuff done around the house. It was such a pleasant and quiet weekend. I really enjoyed it.
