On Friday morning, December 19th, my water broke at 7:30am. After quickly packing a bag for the hospital (we didn't think it would happen so soon), Ryan and I headed to St. Mary's to check in. We arrived around 8:15am and were immediately put in a room where I was hooked up to monitors and Dr. Perry was called. We called our parents and told them to start heading up to Reno because they were going to deliver the babies sometime today.
After being in my room for only a short time, the nurse came back in and started to prep me for surgery. After only 2 1/2 short hours at the hospital, Noah Arthur was born at 11:06 am. He weighed 5 lbs 12 oz and was 19 inches long. Emma Julia was born at 11:08 am, weighing in at 5 lbs 9 oz and also was 19 inches long.
After quickly showing them to me, the doctors evaluated both babies and were happy to tell both Ryan and I that they were healthy enough to go straight to the well-baby nursery and not the NICU! We were ecstatic. We spent a total of 4 days in the hospital and went home on Tuesday, December 23rd (my due date)! We are all doing well and so happy to be home!

Pretty Awesome! We're glad we could be there and have that time with Emma & Noah, (and yes Amber & Ryan too!) Can't wait to get back.
